Positive: The breakfast was excellent, local cheeses and ham and anything extra I needed such as scrambled, quickly provided. I loved the town, it was my favourite of the medieval villages I visited. The hosts were excellent, I enjoyed chatting to both over breakfast about anything and everything. France isn't renowned for its coffee (!) but the coffee provided here was easily the best I had.

Positive: Veronique and Christophe are natural hosts. The property is steeped in history and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice including freshly made crepes. We chatted at length with our hosts who are truly lovely people. Charroux was a delight - (we came from our house in Creuse which is very quiet) lots of little shops open even on a Sunday! Recommend the local restaurant La Ferme San Sebastián - delightful!

Positive: Location in village was so convenient with free parking to explore! The accommodations were amazing, comfortable bedding, and incredible breakfast using only local sourced foods! We optioned to have our hosts cook dinner for us, and what a delight! Food, wine, and friendship, what a amazing experience. English speaking hosts was a added treasure. Would definitely recommend!

Positive: The village is just so beautiful, with parking. The accommodation was lovely and the breakfast so good with home made goodies and local produce. Host very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Village has lots to offer including three restaurants and amazing views. Will definitely go again!

Positive: Everything! The hosts were lovely and SO helpful. They managed to get us on to the nearby restaurant, despite it being fully booked. The house and garden were breathtaking! We had our 9 year grand daughter with us and she loved it there, as did we. The owners haven’t been running the property for long but you wouldn’t know it. So professionally run and so welcoming. There was home made yoghurt, along with many other yummy delights, for breakfast and there was chocolate in our room. The parking is just outside the property but it felt very safe. The village is a must visit, too.
Negative: Having to leave it!
Summary: Outstanding all round. We have stayed in many places and we can honestly say this was our favourite.
